Senior Human Resources Practitioner: Organisation and Development (P8)
Responsibilities include
- Drafting of Key Performance Areas and Job Descriptions for all positions within the AVBOB Group
- Participate in the process of job evaluation in accordance with the Peromnes Job Evaluation System
- Assists with the continuous refinement, development and maintenance of Competency Matrices
- Assists with the continuous refinement, development and maintenance of Career and Succession Planning
- Responsible for the successful completion of any project within the given deadline
- Coaching others by providing timely guidance and feedback to reinforce specific competencies required to accomplish a task or solve a problem
- Clearly communicate and convey information and ideas
- Introduce the principles of quality management by giving consideration to all areas which may be affected by the project and by accurately checking processes and tasks during the tenure of the project
- Manage time and project resources effectively to ensure that project goals are attained on time and standard
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System
- Provide an efficient HR support service
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 Year Tertiary Qualification: Humanities preferably.
- Intermediate level of proficiency relating to the MS Office Suite (in particular MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
Experience required for the position
- 4 Years experience as a general HR practitioner.
- 2 Years practical experience of HR systems and software.
- 2 Years practical experience of OD practices/interventions
Technical and Behavioural Competencies required for the position
- Basic level understanding of budgeting and cost control
- Basic level understanding of strategic objectives
- Basic level Mentorship & Coaching Skills
- Intermediate level understanding of HR business processes and procedures
- Intermediate level knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
